A teen girl is accused of punching a Little Rock police officer who was trying to arrest another female Friday morning, a report shows.

Police were attempting to make the arrest at a residence in the 1700 block of South Tyler Street about 10 a.m. when Kaydrean Clark, 19, struck an officer in the face twice, according to the report.

Both females were taken into custody, records show. Clark was charged with second-degree battery, obstructing governmental operations and refusal to submit to arrest, police said. As of Sunday evening, she had been released from the Pulaski County jail, according to the online inmate roster. She is scheduled to appear in court Friday.
