Police: North Little Rock man injured in attack involving shotgun

Authorities confirmed Tuesday that one person was injured in an attack involving a shotgun almost a week ago in a residential neighborhood in North Little Rock.

Officers responded at 2 a.m. Wednesday to the 1200 block of West 11th Street after a woman reported that she was being chased by a man on a bicycle who had a gun, according to a police report. The report states that when the police arrived, she exited a home and sprinted toward officers in an "excited and scared" state.

The report did not provide further details but listed 33-year-old Steven Earl Jr. as the victim. The North Little Rock resident was said to be suffering from possible internal injuries, according to the report.

A 61-year-old man listed as a suspect did not appear in Pulaski County online jail records as of 2 p.m. Tuesday.
