More than $7,000 worth of property was stolen during a break-in at a Little Rock Chinese restaurant over the weekend, authorities said.
Little Rock police were sent at 3:30 a.m. Saturday to Good Taste Take Out at 9218 N. Rodney Parham Road in response to an alarm.
When officers arrived, the 42-year-old owner told them the west entrance door had been broken and multiple items were missing.
Items reported stolen include $500 in cash, two $300 cash registers and two computers valued at about $6,000, according to a police report.
Authorities said they followed a trail of receipt paper to the next-door Kroger gas station but didn't find any of the missing property.
No suspects had been named, and no arrests had been made at the time of the report.
