For once I agree with Mr. Williams. Science, engineering, and math are race neutral. You can either do the work or you cannot. Many racial minorities do not apply themselves to these courses when they need to, in high school, and thus cannot compete when it comes to the same fields in higher education. We do not need to change the standards to become more diverse. We need the under-represented to step up and do the work to get there.
