MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. "There is no longer a Nuclear Threat from North Korea. Meeting with Kim Jong Un was an interesting and very positive experience. North Korea has great potential for the future!" I think we already know the answer to the statement Trump made. BS. Last I checked, NK still has weapons and missiles. No plan for disarmament or verification in place. In other words, Trump loves to claim things that haven't happened.

"I find that question insulting and ridiculous and frankly ludicrous. I just have to be honest with you, it's a game, it's a game, and one ought not play games with serious matters like this." You're exactly right, Pompeo, and the games being played by this administration are dangerous. Trump's comments are just as dangerous as a question from a reporter, if not more. So cut the lectures and try to counsel your president on language in the future.
...
With regards to "complete, verifiable, irreversible denuclearization", "I suppose we could argue semantics, but let me assure you it's in the document," Pompeo said. Not in the document that was released and that's the only document out there. I mean, maybe it's written in hidden ink or something. Maybe Pompeo hasn't read the actual document that was signed.
...
My guess is trucks are headed to the Dandong bridge on both sides and will be crossing it soon, even before a team hits the ground in NK to start working towards anything. With regards to the war games, the August exercise is almost exclusively a computer simulation. The one following involves the masses of troops mentioned. But the risk of not conducting that exercise gives the Chinese an opportunity to move in and strengthen their presence in the region.
...
Overall, China is the biggest winner in these negotiations and will be playing the "game" very adeptly. Now, after having said all this I can't wait for the attacks on my comments. As usual, none of those attacking will have even dug into the details or the intricacies of things. They'll stop with Trump's statement, There is no longer a Nuclear Threat from North Korea," and call it quits on research.

Well, RB, you obviously haven't dug very deep into Nikki Haley's work on this matter.
Kim knows President Trump means business, and he's fully aware that if he reneges, our response will be brutal. He knows he's not dealing with a limp-wristed pantywaist like the Fresh Prince of Bill Ayers.
Peace is coming to the Korean Peninsula. Bet on it.

I prefer diplomacy and negotiation to intensifying braggadocio about nuclear war. However, what is "insulting and ridiculous and frankly ludicrous" is asking the American people to believe the notion that a man who brags about being such a terrific businessman would leave key assumptions unwritten in the signed agreement. Clearly, as RBear pointed out, Pompeo did not even know what was in the agreement that he was lecturing about. He should listen to himself: don't play games with something as serious as nuclear war.

This problem would have been solved 66 years ago if General Douglas MacArthur had his way.

I'm beginning to get the impression that you "progs" don't like President Trump, so I have a suggestion for you all:
Choose a candidate for president that can beat President Trump.
Oops! Sorry! It just occurred to me that you don't have a candidate who can beat President Trump!

Anyone who believes North Korea's threats are at an end due to a silly and incompetent photo op is too stupid to be allowed to safely hold their own spoon.

It appears the Trumpets continue to like fake news. What are those that believe that there's something when there's nothing?

23...It reminds me of someone that goes to get an Order of Protection and argues "he/she is going to kill me!" The fact that you now have a piece of paper telling the person to stay away is not going to stop him/her from killing you (if that is truly what they intend to do). Just freaking leave and block their number, if they show up call the police for trespass. If you have that paper, while they are pointing a gun in your face, wave the paper at them and they will run away (Sarcasm).

Mo says .." choose a candidate who can beat.........."

I also used that in Minnesota on all the cry babies crying about Michele Bachman winning election after election after election after election.

Agree with 23 & LRA here. There are NOTHING close to the commitments spelled out with Iran and the JCPOA in Trump’s handshake with NK - and Trump walked away from the Iran agreement. He’s a hypocritical, dangerous clown.
