Joy Elizabeth Ball and Dalton James Dailey III were united in marriage at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 9, at Moss Mountain Farm in Roland. Greg Kirksey of The Church at Rock Creek officiated.

Parents of the bride are Jan Ball Truett and Paul Truett of Maumelle and Dr. Charles William Ball Jr. of Carlisle. She is the granddaughter of Georgia Ball Swarner of Hot Springs, the late Jane Elizabeth and John Rolland Krogsgard of Metairie, La., and the late Charles William Ball of Lake Village.

The groom is the son of Patti and Jim Dailey of Little Rock. His grandparents are the late Ellen and Dalton Dailey and the late Babe and Joe Murphy, all of Little Rock.

The ceremony was held in the Secret Rose Garden, an enclosed garden of heirloom roses. Music was by pianist John Willis and harpist Kathy Cooper.

The bride, given in marriage by her father and stepfather, wore an ivory strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline. She carried a bouquet of garden roses, white anemones, light pink lisianthus, white ranunculus and blush peonies.

A lunch reception at Moss Mountain was held after the ceremony. Large chandeliers centering the open sided tent were decorated with magnolia leaves, green amaranthus and wedding flowers. Wooden farm tables were centered with garlands of seed eucalyptus, candles and arrangements of white roses, Queen Anne's lace, peonies and scabosia. Music was by pianist John Willis and Bijoux.

The bride has bachelor's degrees in human environmental sciences in nursing from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. She is a registered nurse at Legacy Neurosurgery.

The groom served two years of active duty in the Navy, attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and received a doctorate of dental surgery from the University of Tennessee at Memphis. He is a general and cosmetic dentist.

The couple will live in Little Rock after a honeymoon in St. Lucia.
