Margaret Cecilia Baldridge Smith and Booth McGregor Owens exchanged marriage vows at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at Pleasant Valley Country Club. The Rev. Sarah Prickett officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Julie Baldridge of Little Rock and Lindsley and Stephen Smith of Fayetteville. She is the granddaughter of Margaret and the late Austin Smith of Huntsville.

The groom is the son of Quinton Smith and Sue and Ed Owens, all of Little Rock. He is the grandson of Anna Marie Trueman, the late Joan Barton and the late Mose Smith III, all of Little Rock and the late Sallye Ruth and Ed Owens of Pine Bluff.

The ceremony site was marked with an arch of curly willow decorated with succulents, air plants, blue thistle and seeded eucalyptus. Music was by pianist John Willis.

The bride wore an ivory ballgown of striped organza with a ruffled skirt and a sleeveless wrapped bodice with a deep V-neckline and open back. She carried a bouquet of silver dollar eucalyptus, succulents, creamy white spray roses, wax flower, soft green hydrangeas and green ranunculus. A reception, also at the country club, was held after the ceremony. The mantel was covered with foliage and clusters of wedding flowers and candles. Guest tables alternated arrangements of wedding flowers on tall gold Harlow stands and low dish arrangements of succulents and air plants.

The buffet was centered with a tall gold stand topped with an arrangement of lush foliage and wedding flowers. Ferns and candles were at the base of the stand.

The bride graduated with honors from the University of Central Arkansas and a with bachelor's degree in early childhood education. She has a law degree from Indiana University Maurer School of Law and is a lawyer.

The groom has a bachelor's degree in studio art from Hendrix College and a master's degree in health administration from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He is an instructional designer for medical software.

After a honeymoon in Santa Barbara, Calif., the couple will make their home in Little Rock.
