Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church was the setting at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 9, for the marriage of Morgan Lee Bookout and Matthew Lyn Brunson. The Rev. Jay Clark officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Sherry Lee and Paul Jerry Bookout Jr. of Jonesboro. Her grandparents are Donna and Artie Flanigan and Loretta and the late Paul Jerry Bookout, all also of Jonesboro.

Parents of the groom are Dr. Elizabeth Ashley Deed and Dr. Gaylon Lyn Brunson, both of Little Rock. His grandparents are the late Ila Pearl and Lyndal John Robert Brunson of Star City and the late Dr. Eleanor Polk and Richard Norton Deed, both of Tahlequah, Okla.

The altar held a white arrangement of seasonal flowers and calla lilies. Music was by The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra String Quartet and organist Jim Maase.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a mermaid-style gown of tulle embellished with floral appliques, embroidery and gemstones. She carried a bouquet of white flowers and cascading orchids.

Serving as the bride's honor attendants were Madison Fletcher Mason of Memphis and Lindsay Farris Privett of Jonesboro. Bridesmaids were Mandy Tennyson, Haley Jones, Lauren Hall, Courtney Wilson and Elizabeth Knight, all of Little Rock; Haley Dearman of Dallas; Raven Gates of Hoxie; and Jordan Powell of Jonesboro.

The bridesmaids wore gowns of black crepe in various styles.

Flower girls were Camille Rawlings and Keenan Rawlings of Little Rock and Emersyn Brunson of West Plains, Mo., niece of the groom.

The father of the groom was best man. Groomsmen were Shawn Brunson of West Plains, brother of the groom; Matthew Warden and Paul Bookout III, brother of the bride, both of Little Rock; Zeb Scott and Brandon White, both of Fayetteville; Jon Plafcan of Memphis; Carter Harbuck and Cody Powell, cousin of the bride, both of Jonesboro; and Matthew Holman of Tulsa. Guests were seated by Brian Feller and Matthew Mozzoni both of Fayetteville, and Adam Franks and Edward Harding, both of Little Rock.

After the ceremony, there was a reception at Chenal Country Club.

The bride is a graduate of Arkansas State University at Jonesboro, with a bachelor's degree in chemistry. She is a territory manager for BlueLinx Corporation.

The groom graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Arkansas Sam M. Walton College of Business, where he was in the Honors Program. He graduated with a law degree from University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law. He is a lawyer at Mitchell, Williams, Selig, Gates, and Woodyard, P.L.L.C.

After a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple will reside in Little Rock.
