Police identify driver who died in Pulaski County crash after suffering 'medical complication'

Arkansas State Police have identified the man who died in a Pulaski County crash Sunday.

Robert Earl Linker, 57, of Jacksonville was driving south at 10:50 p.m. on U.S. 67/167 near its intersection with Redmond Road in Jacksonville when he "experienced a medical complication" and lost control of his 2004 Chevrolet, according to a preliminary crash report.

Arkansas State Police said a man died in a Pulaski County crash after suffering a "medical complication" while driving.

The man, who was not identified, was driving south at 10:50 p.m. Sunday on U.S. 67/167 near its intersection with Redmond Road in Jacksonville when he "experienced a medical complication" and lost control of his 2004 Chevrolet, according to a preliminary crash report.

The Chevrolet reportedly left the road and hit a cable barrier.

Conditions were described as clear and dry at the time of the report.

At least 211 people have died in wrecks on Arkansas roads this year, according to preliminary figures.
