The wreck happened before noon east of the Galloway exit.

The Arkansas Department of Transportation said shortly before 12:30 p.m. that only the right lane and shoulder were open to traffic. The Arkansas Online live traffic map continued to show a significant backup on I-40 and onto Interstate 30.

The highway agency said the driver was trapped for a time but suffered only minor injuries.

It wasn't immediately clear how the crash occurred, or when officials estimated the lanes would reopen.
