North Little Rock woman wins $10,000 on ABC's 'Match Game'

A North Little Rock woman won $10,000 on an ABC game show — and got multiple celebrities to try her line of scented shea butter skin care products.

Cheryl Humphrey appeared on the season 4 premier of Match Game, which aired Thursday night. The goal of the competition is to match the answers of the celebrity panel.

The six stars in Humphrey's episode were: Kenan Thompson of Saturday Night Live; Niecy Nash of Claws; Thomas Lennon, known for his role on Reno 911!; Caroline Rhea, known for her work on Sabrina the Teenage Witch; Mark Duplass, from The League, and Constance Zimmer of Unreal.

While she was being introduced, the North Little Rock resident gave host Alec Baldwin one of her shea butter products, telling him she chose the Dark Knight version because he "is mysteriously sexy."

He responded that it smelled like yogurt before passing it to the celebrity panel.

In the first round, Humphrey was given two questions. On the first — "I'm not saying Niecey Nash is a diva, but before every show she demands a champagne bath, a basket of puppies and a long [blank] from me" — she gave the same answer, hug, as only Lennon.

But on the second — "Insecure Ivan is so insecure he won't even let his boyfriend be near fictional men. That's why he went to the liquor cabinet and threw out all the bottles of [blank]" — Humphery's answer of whiskey matched the remaining five's responses of Jack Daniels.

The six matches topped a North Carolina woman's five, and Humphrey advanced to the "Supermatch" round. She won $2,000 by picking the third-most popular audience answer for one question and was able to turn that into $10,000 by providing the exact same answer — paintbrush — as Nash to the question "paint [blank]."

Humphrey, who performs as CandySoul, at venues like South on Main onstage, was flown to New York for the October taping, the Democrat-Gazette previously reported.

She owns Candy Butta, a skin care products line, and is a graduate student studying music education at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
