Gunman at pizzeria grabs cash, runs off

A gunman who robbed a Little Rock pizza restaurant Wednesday morning threatened to kill a worker and himself, according to a police report.

Officers were called shortly before 10:45 a.m. to the Little Caesars at 7509 Cantrell Road.

A 19-year-old employee told authorities that the robber had entered the store with a gun on his right hip. He reportedly told her he needed all the money in the cash drawers.

The gunman threatened to kill her and himself, the report states. The man said he "had nothing to lose," the report said.

The employee told police she had to get a 28-year-old co-worker to open the register before the robber took the money and ran off. Authorities said $150 was stolen.
