WEATHER ALERT: Tornado warnings in south Arkansas expire

2:45 p.m. UPDATE:

The tornado warning for Calhoun County was expired early, and the one covering Bradley County has also subsequently expired.

2:15 p.m. UPDATE:

A new tornado warning has been issued for southern Bradley County and southeastern Calhoun County. It runs until 2:45 p.m.

The National Weather Service said a storm capable of producing a tornado was near Moro Bay at 2:12 p.m. and move southeast at 45 mph.

The weather service said radar indicated rotation. Up to golf-ball sized hail was also possible.

Locations in the path of the storm include Ingalls, Hilo, Moro Bay, Vick, Marsden, Jersey and Blanchton.

UPDATE:

A tornado warning that had been in effect in part of south Arkansas has been canceled.

The warning ended at 1:45 p.m. There was no preliminary report of damage.

EARLIER:

A tornado warning is in effect for central Drew County in south Arkansas.

The National Weather Service said shortly before 1:30 p.m. that a severe storm capable of producing a tornado was near Monticello and moving southeast at 30 mph.

The warning runs until 2:15 p.m. and includes Monticello, Green Hill and Enon.
