EStem names two top students in '18

Noah K. Haynes of Little Rock and Sarah Friedman of Sherwood are the top two academic students who graduated from eStem High School this year.

The eStem charter school does not formally recognize individual students as valedictorian or salutatorian, said Johnecia Howard, the high school director.

Haynes, whose parents are Kevin and Michelle Shaide, plans to attend Arkansas State University in Jonesboro and study political science with hopes of going to law school and pursuing a career with the government.

Friedman, whose mother is Kimberly Friedman, plans to attend the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. She plans to study biology with hopes of going to medical school and becoming a physician.
