KaTina Rena Hodge and Maurice Guest Jr. were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, June 16, in the Pulaski County Courthouse. Officiating was retired Arkansas Court of Appeals Judge Olly Neal.

The bride is the daughter of Mary Jackson of Mascotte, Fla., and the granddaughter of the late Ophelia and Isaac Jackson of Fort Smith.

Parents of the groom are Brenda Guest of Little Rock and the late Maurice Guest. His grandparents are the late Bertha and Anthony Barnes of Scott and the late Minerva and Aaron Guest of Little Rock.

Vows were exchanged under the stained glass dome of the courthouse's rotunda. Arrangements of roses decorated the ceremony site.

The bride wore a one-shoulder ivory lace mermaid-style gown by Vera Wang, embellished with organza flowers. She carried a bouquet of roses and summer flowers.

Maid of honor was Billisha Robinson of Groveland, Fla., sister of the bride, and matron of honor was Renae Ford Hudson of Little Rock. They wore gowns of champagne and blush and carried bouquets similar to the bridal bouquet.

Flower girl was Hannah Guest, daughter of the groom, and ring bearers were Knox and Knyls Hodge, sons of the bride, all of Little Rock.

Best man was Mark Green and groomsman was Codney Washington, both of Little Rock.

A reception, also in the rotunda, was held after the ceremony. Guest tables covered in navy linens were centered with arrangements of white, pink and ivory roses in Eiffel Tower vases. Music was by Devin Dooley. Assisting was Mary Kate Stafford.

The bride has a bachelor's degree in economics from Hendrix College in Conway and graduated with honors and a law degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law. She received the Dean Certificate of Service, was a member of the UALR Law Review and vice-chair of the UALR Moot Court Board. She is an assistant attorney general in the office of the Arkansas attorney general.

The bridegroom has a bachelor's degree in health science from Philander Smith College and a master's degree in education from UALR. He is director at eStem/East Village Jr. High School.

The couple will make their home in Little Rock after a wedding trip to Nassau and Cococay, Bahamas.
