Krall plays Walton Center; classic rockers at AMP

Grammy-winning jazz pianist and singer Diana Krall, on her "Turn Up the Quiet World Tour 2018," performs material from her most recent album, Turn Up the Quiet (Verve), and a selection of fan favorites, 7 p.m. Thursday at Fayetteville's Walton Arts Center, 495 W. Rockin' at Rogers

Rock bands Chicago and REO Speedwagon will co-headline, with opening act Michael Tolcher, 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Walmart AMP, 5079 W. Northgate Road, Rogers. Doors open at 6. Also at the Walmart AMP this week: "The Adventures of Kesha and Macklemore" will be onstage at 7 p.m. Monday. Gates open at 5:30. Tickets are $36-$100.50 plus fees; four lawn tickets form a "LAWN 4-PACK," $31 per ticket. The tour will donate $1 from every ticket sold -- Kesha donating to RAINN (Rape, Abuse, & Incest National Network) and Macklemore donating to M Plus1, an organization that advances racial and social justice through the M&RL Equity Fund.

Bluegrass Monday

Bluegrass band Nu-Blu -- multi-instrumentalist Daniel Routh and lead vocalist Carolyn Routh; Calder Baker, banjo; and Justin Harrison, mandolin -- performs at 7 p.m. Monday at the Collins Theatre, 120 W. Emerson St., downtown Paragould, part of Jonesboro public radio station KASU-FM, 91.9's Bluegrass Monday series. The station will literally "pass the hat" to pay the group; suggested donation is $5 per person. Doors open at 6. Pop-up art

Stage Eighteen, 18 E. Center St., Fayetteville, a community performance venue, bar and art gallery, hosts "She's Coming Out of the Dark," a pop-up art exhibition, featuring small and large format works by artists Christina Mariotti and Marsha Lane Foster, with a reception 6-9 p.m. Friday.

Angie Maxwell, director of the Diane D. Blair Center for Southern Politics and Society at the University of Arkansas' J. William Fulbright College of Arts & Sciences, will discuss women's empowerment. Admission is free; a cash bar will be available. The works will be on display and available for sale through Saturday.
