Theater workshop
Broadway Kids Auditions will hold a two-day workshop for youngsters 8-18, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Aug. 25-26 in the Theatre Arts Department Performing Arts Center, North Little Rock High School, 101 W. 22nd St.. The workshop will include classes on audition techniques, dance, song interpretation, scene study and on-camera acting led by Broadway actors and a New York-based casting director. It also includes a "Parent Hour" -- an overview for parents and students on practical steps to take if your child wants to audition professionally, as well as insight into college and university program auditions.
