An Arkansas man accused of embezzlement now has been charged with 2,000 counts in a child pornography case, police say.
According to a Friday news release from the Hot Springs Police Department, officers were called to an area business Dec. 4 about child porn found on the work computer of a former employee, identified as 51-year-old Randall Allen Morris.
Authorities reportedly seized the computer and flash drives. A state Crime Laboratory analysis revealed the devices contained more than 2,000 images and videos of "sexually explicit material involving a child," according to the release.
Morris has been held at the Garland County jail on a theft of property charge Dec. 28, 2017, records show. In that case, he's accused of embezzling more than $199,000 funds from Flossie's Funnel Cake, his former employer, the Hot Springs Sentinel Record reported.
On Friday, a warrant was issued for Morris’ arrest on the child-porn charges, the release states. His bail in that case was set at $1 million, records show.
