Thank you, John. It’s going to be an uphill battle. With the “ preposterous 2nd place president”, the capricious republican support of p2pp, and both being at the end of their respective metaphorical ropes, and the rising tide of duly resultant retribution of left wing right doers, the social norms of real morality will be put into place. Ones who have not been truly poor have not the shallowest clue what it feels like to be hungry and not know where the next meal comes from. Helping one another is giving something to nurture, not remove something to punish.

I'm a little disappointed in Brummett today. I thought sure he would have penned a column about how the Texas dem primary voters, with all their enthusiasm, blew out the Republicans, with all their complacency.
Funny jingle that Ted Cruz came up with about Beta O'Rourke, though!

primarys don't as a rule get the voters out mozzy. Let's wait and see what happens in the big one that counts. If the dems get one seat that'll be the best in 25 years. Gerrymandering, has rum amuck in TX thanks to "Tom the Hammer".

I'm aware of primary turnout, but my point was that the propaganda wing of the DNC (iow, CNNMSNBCABCNBCCBS) were all predicting a "Blue Wave" of motivated Dems that would swamp the complacent Republicans.
Turns out it was actually a Red Tsunami that garnered about 50% more votes than the Dems got.
Ted Cruz actually got more votes than all the dem Senate candidates combined!
Still love that Beta O'Rourke jingle!

Black unemployment falls to second-lowest level on record.

Mozarky,

Texas is one of the reddest states. I expect that Cruz will be reelected. However, Democratic votes are up, and the Dems have been winning state legislative seats that they have not held in many years. It is looking good for the dems.

rightside, since it is a proven fact that Trump will lie. And, it's a proven fact that his underlings will lie, even to the FBI. Then there's the fact that while Obama was POTUS your ilk didn't believe the numbers his efforts were getting back to work. Why in hell do you think the numbers you gave out are accurate?
