LOWELL -- Two people died in a fiery crash in Northwest Arkansas on Thursday morning, authorities said.
Lt. Paul Pillaro, a spokesman for the Lowell Police Department, said a vehicle traveling north on Bloomington Street left the roadway near the School Avenue intersection.
That vehicle crossed into the southbound lanes, then struck a tree and caught fire, police said.
Authorities did not identify the people killed.
No other information was immediately available about the crash.
