Marco Antonio De la Garza Jr., a 37-year-old former U.S. border officer in southern Arizona, faces criminal charges, accused of illegally obtaining a job with Customs and Border Protection after claiming he was born in Texas when he is actually a Mexico native.

Brett Stover, a KCOU radio journalist, forced the cancellation of the Missouri University Students Association's presidential election after he dug up and published posts that were offensive to racial minorities, women and homosexuals from the Twitter accounts of three candidates, all of whom have since withdrawn from the race.

Jimmy Morales, city manager of Miami Beach, Fla., said he was revoking the Mokai Lounge's business license after the club featured a scantily clad woman riding bareback on a white horse, which in a video appeared to panic while maneuvering through the crowded space, knocking the woman off.
