A man was killed in a shooting at an Arkansas apartment complex Wednesday, police said.
Pine Bluff Police spokesman Lr. David DeFoor said the shooting took place about 12:20 p.m. in the 2900 block of South Fir Street, where responders located 37-year-old Lonnie Urquhart Jr. with multiple gunshot wounds.
Urquhart was treated at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, where he died from his injuries while in surgery shortly after 2 p.m., a news release states.
The Police Department said the victim and witnesses identified Marquanthony Sullivan as the shooter. Authorities issued a first-degree battery warrant for the 26-year-old's arrest.
