And as the rope around someone's neck gets a bit tighter, more is having to be done to keep the 2nd placed vote getter somewhat stable. Mueller, do your job!

As to be expected by Trump's legal team. They know this is getting closer to Trump and the information McCabe has provided to Mueller could lead to an even deeper investigation. Trump's attorneys are doing what any legal team would do if they are worried about their client, calling for the investigation to end.
...
However, if Trump calls for the firing of Mueller it will signal a crisis in our Republic that borders on obstruction of justice. We are not Russia, although Trump seems to wish we were like Russia and praises Putin often. Trump's "jokes" about dictatorships and heavy-handed leaders such as those in China and Turkey could be considered disturbing and would set off right wingers if they had been made by Obama.

John Brennan said it best. America will triumph over trump.
.
trump is slowly backing into a corner. He does not see it that way. His style running a business is no longer working his way. America will crush and smother this disgrace.

Hmmm, didn't think I'd see this coming. Gov. Christie is defending the pace of the Mueller investigation and disagrees with Trump's legal team calling for an end to the investigation. Based on what I'm seeing from several sources, everyone is discounting the team's recommendation and believes this investigation should continue. Mueller is producing results and continues to find more as the team investigates. Anyone who is calling for the end of the investigation is actually more afraid of what the team will find rather than seeing justice served.

The proof will be the reaction of the repubs in congress to trump having Mueller fired. I believe the Senate would respond appropriately,if trump gets Mueller fired. How the House would respond is another matter. I would hope saner minds than Devin Nunes would prevail. We know already what his response would be. It is laughable seeing Mueller called traitorous by the nincompoops on here who show they don't understand how our constitution works. I'm sure they felt the same way about Ken Starr.

Congress would be acting contrary to the views of the American public if it did not defend Mueller should Trump try to fire him. A recent Pew Research poll showed Americans still have confidence in the fairness of the probe and want it to continue. Trump's best gift to Democrats would be to fire Mueller during the summer before the mid-terms and Republicans not defend Mueller. It would be icing on the cake for a Democratic takeover of Congress.

Those that continue to defend this corrupt administration, particularly so-called "evangelicals", should be ashamed...either ashamed of their hypocritical denial of the facts or their clear ignorance. The fact that he is still President (or ever was in the first place) is the most embarrassing milestone on the political history of the United States.
