SPRINGDALE -- Maintenance work on the Interstate 49 shoulder in Johnson and Springdale requires nighttime lane closings.
Weather permitting, crews will do maintenance on the inside shoulder of northbound I-49 near the Clear Creek bridge, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation officials. The inside lane will be closed between mile markers 68 and 70 to do the work.
The overnight closings will be from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Wednesday night through Friday morning. Traffic will be controlled using signs and barrels.
