1 Purse $25,000, 1 1/16 miles, fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up, maiden claiming $20,000

**PARTY CLUB is dropping out of maiden-allowance races for the first time, and she has route speed and ability. She switches to Hall of Fame rider Gary Stevens. CIPHERIN' SUE was beaten a diminishing neck at a slightly higher price only two races back, and she owns the fastest last-race Beyer figure. ITHAPPENEDINVEGAS has proven two-turn ability, and she likely needed her last race after a long layoff.

**ITWILLBEALRIGHT is back sprinting after two competitive route races at Tampa, and he recorded a sharp local work last Sunday. TEMPO SEEKER has competed well in stronger maiden races, and his best race likely wins this, but he may also be in declining form. DRAMA STAR has steadily improving pace and final figures, and he may be running over a fast track for the first time in four local starts.

**MINEYEROWNMALONE is a good finisher who figures to appreciate the added ground, and he is taking a slight drop in class on the heels of a second-place finish. HUSKY CLIPPER ran down a similar field at this class and distance March 10. He has a strong record at Oaklawn and is a repeat candidate. GET THAT BOX crossed the wire 2 lengths behind Husky Clipper, but he set a pretty fast early pace and receives a favorable 5-pound swing in weight.

4 Purse $34,000, 6 furlongs, 4-year-olds and up, starter allowance

***CHUBBLE MAKER won a fast starter allowance race in his first start under the care of trainer Robertino Diodoro, and he is consistently difficult to beat on a fast track. ITER has been impressive beating up on conditioned-claiming rivals, and he appears sharp enough to move up and have a say in the outcome. WILL MUNNINGS earned a strong Beyer figure in a wire-to-wire victory against $16,000 claimers. Three of his four wins have been recorded at Oaklawn.

5 Purse $33,000, 1 1/16 miles, 3-year-olds and up who have never won two races, claiming $30,000

**BIG DINNER showed big improvement from a first to second start last season at Oaklawn, and he finished second after a long layoff when kicking off his 2018 campaign. MISTER HENRY LEE may have moved too soon when surrendering a late lead in a narrow loss March 1. He was claimed by leading trainer Steve Asmussen who wisely keeps him in a conditioned claiming race. GRANDPA'S DREAM crossed the wire just behind the top selection as a beaten even-money favorite, and the inconsistent colt can make amends if ready for one of his better races.

6 Purse $81,000, 6 furlongs, 3-year-olds and up, maiden special weight

****WYATT'S TOWN has shown excellent early speed in a pair of tough-luck defeats at the meeting. He switches riders, and the two-time beaten favorite should find the winner's circle. ONE RIVER PLACE has finished in-the-money in all three races this season, and he also has good early speed and is a logical threat. INCA CHIEF has not raced since August, but he finished second in his career debut at Monmouth. He sports sharp workouts for his return.

**PRIZED BOURBON has set a fast and pressured pace in two competitive efforts at this meeting, and he switches riders and appears the one to catch and beat. ANGELO'S ASHES easily defeated starter allowance rivals only two races back, and his ability to rate and finish will suit him well in a field with plenty of speed. VILARO has set the pace in consecutive third-place allowance finishes, and she was stake-placed last summer at Prairie Meadows.

PP HORSE;JOCKEY;TRAINER;ODDS

1 Prized Bourbon;Cohen;McKnight;3-1

**EL CHARRO is a razor-sharp finisher in a field with plenty of early speed, and trainer Brad Cox runs horses where they can and do win. WINGS LOCKED UP ships from Houston after a $50,000 stake victory. The speedy gelding is perfect in two previous races at Oaklawn. GUNS LOADED has the speed and class to win at this level. He is in good form and is more than capable if he holds form for new connections.

9 Purse $81,000, 6 furlongs, 3-year-olds and up, Arkansas-bred, maiden special weight

**REEF'S DESTINY led past every pole but the last one in a game second-place finish, and the lightly raced and improving gelding is moving into a state-bred race and may prove difficult to run down. JUST A COINKYDINK is back sprinting after a useful third-place front-running route race, and he is switching to a leading rider. EAST MOON LAKE has finished well in two in-the-money finishes, and he may dust this field if he can learn to leave the gate running.

PP HORSE;JOCKEY;TRAINER;ODDS

EXOTIC POSSIBILITIES

• The second race starts a Pick-3, and a few runners should be used. The third race has only eight starters, but it is wide open and an upset is possible. The fourth has a potential single in Chubble Maker, which is a money saver for those spreading out in the first two legs. Big Dinner is a possible upsetter in the fifth race, and I'll key him over several in both the middle and bottom of the wager.
