A routine inspection of the Interstate 540 bridge over the Arkansas River between Fort Smith and Van Buren will require lane closings on Wednesday and Thursday, the Arkansas Department of Transportation said.
Crews will be alternating closing the northbound and southbound lanes from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days, weather permitting. Traffic will be controlled with signs and cones.
