Dr. Elissabeth Paige Martin became the bride of Jaren Anthony Hagler at 5 p.m. Saturday, May 5, at Angelo's Garden in Mayflower. James Tyus, brother-in-law of the bride, officiated.

Parents of the bride are Stephanie and F. Andre Martin of Little Rock. She is the granddaughter of Fannie and the late Don Porter, the late Billie Jean and late Floyd Martin, all of Little Rock.

Parents of the groom are Royace and Dr. Nathaniel Hagler III of White Plains, Md. He is the grandson of Juanita and the late Roy Johnson of Indian Head, Md., and Nathaniel II and the late Tillie Hagler of White Plains, Md.

Two large arrangements of wedding flowers decorated the outdoor ceremony site and pink and white roses decorated the aisle. Music was by Bijoux.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless ballgown with a lace sweetheart bodice embellished at the waist with a beaded belt. The full skirt extended to a chapel train. She carried a bouquet filled with pink spray roses, white roses, hydrangeas and silver dollar seeded eucalyptus.

Serving as the bride's honor attendants were her sisters, Sarah Martin of St. Louis and Andrea Tyus of Conway. Bridesmaids were Colea Blam and Briana Davis, both of Little Rock; Christine Harpool of Dallas; Tabia Yapp of Omaha, Neb.; and Amanda Jordan of Nashville, Tenn. They wore gold gowns by Badgley Mischka.

Jamal Hagler of Milwaukee, twin brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Mark Bailey of New York; Jake Lichter of Milwaukee; Seth Martin of Washington, brother of the bride; Emory Moore of Detroit; A.J. Pomeroy of Rochester, N.Y.; and Edwin Smith of Youngstown, Ohio.

A reception, also at Angelo's Garden, was held after the ceremony. Guest tables in the reception hall were centered with candelabra and pink and white roses.

The bride graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a bachelor's degree in philosophy, psychology and neuroscience. She graduated with honors from the University of Arkansas Medical Science's College of Medicine where she was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She is an emergency medicine resident physician at the Carolinas Healthcare System.

The groom is a cum laude graduate with a bachelor's degree in finance from George Washington University and has a law degree from Washington University in St. Louis. He is a corporate tax attorney with Ice Miller LLC.

The couple will live in Charlotte, N.C., after a wedding trip to Belize.
