When was the last time rank-and-file state employees got such a generous raise. Maybe they need a special commission full of toadies to recommend their pay raises.

The current corruption/illegal issues with current and past government and judicial officials was this really the best time to give this pay increase?

State Employees are not going to get 3%... some have not had a raise in over 5 years.

Total B.S! If you remember they all got a raise as soon as Hutchinson was elected. Meanwhile they have been squeezing every State Agency for the last penny. The Agency I work for has gone from 120 to about 80 people since this regime took over. So much for the Republican fiscal conservatism.

A pay raise?, why?, they haven't done a damn thing for the state so far, except pass stupid monument laws.
