SPRINGDALE — Police arrested a woman wanted in connection with a Monday burglary that ended with a man shot to death, according to a news release.

Rogers police arrested Kaili Cogdill, 21, at 5:45 p.m. Monday, according to the release from Springdale police.

Cogdill is being held at the Benton County Jail in connection with numerous charges, including manslaughter and residential burglary in the shooting at 4533 Greens Drive, according to a police preliminary report.

Jalen Tims, 21, was involved in the burglary and was killed by the apartment resident, Clinton Pruitt, police said.

Pruitt, 29, told police he fired his weapon at Tims, who had kicked in his door with the help of Cogdill at 6:57 a.m. Monday, police said.

Springdale police will forward the case to the Washington County prosecutor’s office for review to determine if any charges will be filed against Pruitt, according to the news release.

Springdale detectives determined Pruitt and Cogdill were acquaintances and had met through an online dating app, according to the news release.

Detectives are working with other area agencies to determine if Cogdill and Tims are suspects in other similar incidents, police said.

Springdale police believe Cogdill and Tims were involved in a burglary at 1550 Electric Ave. around 4 p.m. May 2, according to preliminary police reports. Several electronic items were stolen. Dandre Douresseau, 29, of Springdale was also arrested in connection with the burglary.

Cogdill is also expected to face charges in connection with nonfinancial identity fraud for telling police she was her sister and for swindling someone out of $130, according to the preliminary report.
