A female victim was shot multiple times during a home invasion in Trumann early Friday, police said.
Trumann Police Department officers were called about 12:30 a.m. to a shooting in the 400 block of Arrowhead Road, where a person was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, police said.
Chief Chad Henson said police believe the victim, a Trumann resident, was shot by an intruder.
Authorities described the gunman as white with dark hair, wearing a gray shirt and bluejeans, and having his face covered with a ski mask.
No suspects had been named.
