Rehabilitation and resurfacing work on Interstate 555 between Jonesboro and Trumann will require lane closings beginning Wednesday and lasting through late this year, the Arkansas Department of Transportation said.
Crews working on a 10-mile section will close, weather permitting, southbound and northbound lanes for the duration of the $6.2 million project, which consists of resurfacing, including the bridge decks, and replacing guardrails.
Traffic will be controlled with message boards, barrier walls, signs and traffic barrels, the department said.
