A 64-year-old Arkansas woman died after being hit by a car Thursday morning in Wynne, authorities said.
Shortly before 11 a.m., Kathie I. Jacobs of Wynne was struck by a Toyota Camry in the northbound lane of Falls Boulevard near Forrest Avenue, according to an Arkansas State Police report.
Jacobs suffered fatal injuries. The Camry driver, who was not identified in the report, was not listed as being hurt.
Police said it was raining at the time of the collision.
At least 407 people have died in traffic crashes in Arkansas so far this year, according to preliminary information.
