A Little Rock family will compete on an episode of the TV game show Family Feud scheduled to air later this month.
The Thomas family will appear on the show Nov. 14.
The team, led by 55-year-old captain Valerie Benton, also features her daughter Britney Phillips, 32; sister Barbara DeLoney, 57; niece Philicia Bell, 30; and cousin Jackie Govan, 60.
Benton said the five relatives have a family outing each month, and for January, they decided to audition for the show in Little Rock.
"The experience was extraordinary," she said. "We watch [the show] all the time, but we had no idea what we would experience. We were mesmerized by the studio. I just hate that we can’t do it again."
In Little Rock, Family Feud airs at 5 p.m. on Fox affiliate KLRT-TV.
