HAMPTON -- Brian Williams returned an interception 22 yards for a touchdown less than a minute into the game, and Hampton (8-2) routed Mineral Springs (9-2).
Tre Murphy and DD Stephens each scored twice for the Bulldogs, who also got touchdowns from Jaquez Cross, Ethan Pennington and Bryce Nutt as they built a 54-7 third-quarter lead.

Jadyn Williams scored on a 10-yard run in the first quarter for Mineral Springs, which added a fourth-quarter touchdown to complete the scoring.
