Motorcyclist hit by pickup, killed in central Arkansas wreck

A motorcyclist was killed after a pickup hit the back of his Harley Davidson in a Thursday night crash in Conway, according to a report.

Travis Dunham, 26, of Conway was headed north on Gapview Road around 9 p.m. when a 2014 GMC Sierra came up behind him as both were approaching the Lakeview Road intersection, an Arkansas State Police report shows. The pickup collided with the rear of Dunham’s 2018 Harley Davidson, fatally injuring the 26-year-old, police said.

Dunham died at the scene, according to the report. No one else was listed as injured.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry at the time of the crash.

At least 372 people have died on Arkansas roads so far this year, according to preliminary information.
