Library app offers printing by email

The Central Arkansas Library System now offers mobile printing.

The new service enables patrons to send documents to be printed at any library branch via email, the PrinterOn mobile app or the forms on the library system website.

Documents will be held in the electronic print queue for up to 24 hours. Printing costs are 10 cents a page for black and white and 50 cents for color. There is no extra fee for mobile printing. Full details can be found at cals.org/printing-documents.

Patrons can find out more about the library system's digital services at cals.org or by calling (501) 918-3000.

Volunteers invited to apply year-round

Applications for city volunteer boards and commissions can now be submitted at any time, whether or not there are current vacancies.

All applications will be kept on file for two years, and the applicant will be notified in the event that a vacancy occurs. The application will then be forwarded to the Board of Directors for consideration.

Those interested can apply by filling out an online application, which can be found at littlerock.gov/city-administration/city-boards-and-commissions/.
