The annual “Tales of the Crypt” event at Mount Holly Cemetery in downtown Little Rock has been moved indoors because of wet weather forecast for Tuesday night, organizers said.

The presentation will take place at 6 p.m. at the Parkview High School Auditorium, 2501 John Barrow Road, according to a news release from the Mount Holly Cemetery Association.

The event was initially scheduled for Oct. 9 but was postponed a week because of thunderstorms. More rain was predicted Tuesday, and organizers decided to move the performance indoors rather than postpone it a second time.

In its 24th year, the event will feature Parkview students re-creating the lives of Arkansans who helped shape Little Rock’s history. The students have researched each character and prepared original scripts for the performance, organizers said.

Admission is free to the public, although donations to aid the maintenance of Mount Holly Cemetery are appreciated, the release states.
