The World Cheese Dip Championship, noon-4 p.m. Saturday, draws professional and amateur dip experts and their best creamy concoctions, smooth to spicy and everything in between, to the Clinton Presidential Center, 1200 President Clinton Ave., Little Rock. 2 FEARS

Before Boo at the Zoo gets into high gear starting Wednesday, the Little Rock Zoo is hosting two pre-Boo events to tickle visitors' goosebumps. Adult Night, 6-9 p.m. Friday, gives grown-ups a kid-free turn at the haunted attractions. Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 at the gate. The family-friendly, zombie-theme "A Night With The Walking Dead's Michael Cudlitz," 6-9 p.m. Sunday, includes music, adult beverages, food trucks, costumes and photo, autograph and meet-and-greet sessions with Cudlitz. Ballet Arkansas starts its 40th anniversary season in creepy fashion with Dracula, featuring original choreography by Ballet Arkansas executive and artistic director Michael Fothergill plus state-of-the-art visual elements and sound to put a unique spin on Bram Stoker's story. Performances are 7 p.m. Friday-Saturday and 2 p.m. Saturday-Sunday at the University of Arkansas Pulaski Technical College Center for Humanities and Arts Theater, 3000 W. Music, food, carnival rides and games are all part of MusicFest 31, today-Saturday on Union Square in El Dorado, with performances in the Murphy Arts District Griffin Amphitheater, 105 E. The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra and conductor Philip Mann will tackle four decades of "astral" music selections by John Williams, Michael Giacchino and John Powell from 10 feature films, one animated film, three made-for-TV films and six animated series in "The Music of Star Wars," 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at Robinson Center Performance Hall, 426 W.
