Dr. Larry D. Wright was named associate director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at the Northwest Regional Campus of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He will teach undergraduate and graduate medical education and serve as on-site physician for the geriatrics practice at Butterfield Trail Village in Fayetteville. He was medical director at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale and executive director of the UAMS Schmieding Center for Senior Health and Education. Wright is a graduate of the UAMS College of Medicine, completed his residency training in internal medicine at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, and a fellowship in geriatrics at Long Island Jewish-Hillside Medical Center in New Hyde Park, New York. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and of the American Geriatrics Society.

Mary Barrett obtained her Sandals Specialist certification. She is the owner of Cruise Brothers Mary Barrett Independent Agent in Bentonville.

Ron Branscum by Citizens Bank as executive vice president, Northwest Arkansas market president. Branscum has experience in the financial industry, including senior vice president, commercial lending, for Arvest in Rogers and as senior examiner with the Arkansas Bank Department. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado Graduate School of Banking, and holds a bachelor's degree in business administration with a major in accounting from the University of Central Arkansas.

Nicholas Kern joined the Fayetteville office of Weichert, Realtors - The Griffin Company.

Hydie Hale was recently named director of all bakery and deli operations for Harps Food Stores Inc. She attended Westark (now University of Arkansas Fort Smith) and went to work in one of the bakeries as a clerk in 1997, was promoted to bakery manager and later managed several locations. Hale also served on the company's Board of Directors. In 2014, Hale became the bakery deli merchandiser for the Northwest Arkansas territory.

Ulises "Uli" M. Correa joined Operation Homefront's national board of directors. The nonprofit organization has served military families since 2002. Correa is Walmart's regional vice president for South Texas. Correa has over 22 years of management experience. He has a bachelor of science in management and leadership studies from Lincoln Memorial University, Harrogate, Tenn.
