Jennifer Lynn Maddox - Wilson Cain Anthony

Jennifer Lynn Maddox and Wilson Cain Anthony exchanged marriage vows at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at Saint Mark's Episcopal Church. The Rev. Daniel Schieffler, uncle of the bride, officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Susan Snow Maddox of Little Rock and Ronald Lynn Maddox of Greensboro, N.C. Her grandparents are the late Kathleen and Judge George Knox Cracraft of Little Rock and the late Mary Elizabeth and Solan Gilbert Maddox of Memphis.

Gay Anne and Steven Marshall Anthony of Fordyce are the parents of the groom. He is the grandson of Annette and the late Lewis Sheridan Freer of Fordyce and Judge Robert and the late Mary Lynn Dudley and Isabel Lee and John Edwin Anthony, all of Little Rock.

Large candles surrounded by white hydrangeas, white and light peach roses and white gladiolus decorated the altar. Music was by organist Timothy Allen.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless ivory fit-and-flare gown of Alencon lace. She carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas, anemones, light peach and white roses, seeded eucalyptus and dusty miller.

Laura Schieffler Crone of Little Rock, cousin of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Huett, Lillian Sapp, Caitlin Watt and Allison Anthony, sister-in-law of the groom, all of Little Rock; Courtney McCrory of Terry, Miss.; Emily Mullens of Fayetteville; and Brandy Rogers of Marvell. They wore lux-chiffon cameo-colored gowns with gathered halter necklines and carried bouquets of hydrangeas, anemones and roses.

Flower girl and ring bearer were Emerson Claire Anthony, niece of the groom, and Andrew Charles Crone Jr., nephew of the bride, both of Little Rock.

Serving as best man was Addison Key Anthony of Little Rock, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Slater Corbin of Little Rock; Lane Hulse of Dallas; William Mann of Washington; Benjamin Petitto of Charlotte, N.C.; Patrick Smith of New York; Robert Thomas of Birmingham, Ala.; and Cody Williams of Fordyce. Guests were seated by Tyler Tipton of Rogers and John Tipton of Searcy, cousins of the groom.

A reception at the Arkansas Arts Center was decorated with large arrangements of hydrangeas, roses and delphinium. Guest tables held candles and garlands of greenery. Music was by the 1-900 Band of Memphis.

The bride graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in special education from Mississippi State University, where she was a member of Chi Omega. She has a master's degree in communication disorders from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She is a speech-language pathologist at Grow Learning Centre.

The groom has a bachelor's degree in accounting from Washington and Lee University and a master's degree in accounting from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. He is director of regulatory compliance for Anthony Timberlands Inc.

The couple will make their home in Little Rock after a wedding trip to Bora Bora.
