Rogers Heritage (0-4, 0-1) notched a touchdown on its first possession after Brett Lemmond scored on a 42-yard run. The War Eagles quickly extended their lead to two scores after Springdale fumbled the ensuing kickoff. Quarterback Zach Brown scored on a 1-yard keeper.

The senior went 12-of-14 passing for 194 yards with 3 touchdowns in the first half. Allen would go on to finish the game with 344 passing yards and 5 touchdowns while completing 78 percent of his passes.
