North Little Rock man charged in fight over $20

After accusing one of his two housemates of stealing $20 Sunday, a man named Love struck one roommate in the face with a baseball bat and then cut the other with a knife, an arrest report said.

In a North Little Rock hospital emergency room Sunday morning, officers met two men who accused Shed Love, 42, of attacking them in their home on East Washington Avenue, the report said. One man had a cut on the left side of his face and the other had blood on his shirt and hands, the report said.

One roommate said Love hit him in the face with the bat and when the second roommate took the bat away, Love cut that man in the face, the report said.

Love was in the Pulaski County jail as of Tuesday facing a charge of second-degree domestic battery and third-degree domestic battery.

Boyfriend jailed in attack on woman

A North Little Rock man assaulted his girlfriend multiple times over two days, at one point by strangling her with an extension cord, according to an arrest report.

The woman showed police scratches and cuts on her neck and her swollen wrist Sunday when she told them Freddie Ray Robinson, 33, had attacked her several times, an arrest report said. The woman told officers Robinson assaulted her because he thought she was "disrespectful," the report said.
