IberiaBank Corp. has named Chris Howe senior vice president and Northwest Arkansas market president and Michael A. Hallmark senior vice president and Northeast Arkansas market president.
HEALTH CARE
Dr. Jay Bhama has joined Baptist Health Cardiothoracic Surgery Clinic and Baptist Health Heart Failure and Transplant Institute, both at Baptist Health-Little Rock. Dr. Harry Kourlis has joined Baptist Health Cardiothoracic Surgery Clinic in Little Rock.
Dr. Steve Pu has been named director of Physician Relations at the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine at Arkansas State University, Jonesboro. Pu will work to create new partnerships and strengthen existing ones with hospital systems, clinics and physicians.
EDUCATION
ForwARd Arkansas, a public-private sector partnership created in 2014 to improve education in the state, recently added four people to its board of directors. They are: Tamika Edwards, executive director of the Social Justice Institute at Philander Smith College; Jerry Jones, chief legal and ethics officer, executive vice president for LiveRamp; Vicki Saviers, a former member of the state Board of Education; Darrin Williams, chief executive officer of Southern Bancorp.
HIGHER EDUCATION
The University of Central Arkansas has named Kevin Thomas as the associate vice president for enrollment management, effective July 1. Thomas is director of retention and student success at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.
NONPROFITS
The Razorback Foundation has hired Quinn Grovey as a senior director of development. Grovey, most recently a senior account executive with IMG Razorback Sports Properties, will continue his job as analyst for Razorbacks football radio broadcasts. Grovey played quarterback for the Razorbacks from 1987-1990.
REAL ESTATE
Colliers International/Arkansas has announced three new shareholders with the firm: Justin Bentley, Jayme Martindale and Suzanne Ford.
TOURISM
Visit Bentonville, the tourism agency funded by the Bentonville Advertising and Promotion Commission, has hired Aaron Mullins as director of communications and marketing. Mullins most recently worked in corporate communications for Walmart. Also, Visit Bentonville has promoted Baylea Birchfield as communications coordinator.
