Gravette 5, Prairie Grove 4 (8)
Jake Carver's two-run single in the bottom of the eighth inning lifted Gravette to a 4A-1 Conference win at home over Prairie Grove.
Mason Dagley led off the eighth with a walk and went to third on a two-out single by Brodie Parsons, who took second on the throw. Carver then hit his single to left and drove in both runs.
Prairie Grove had taken the lead in the top of the eighth when Garrett Heltemes singled, took second on a sacrifice bunt and scored on Jadin Higgins' double.
Shiloh Christian 15, Gentry 0
Kellen Pate threw a one-hitter over five innings and Shiloh Christian defeated Gentry in a 4A-1 Conference game.
Pate threw only 65 pitches and walked just one.
Kaden Porter and Ben Baker each drove in two runs for the Saints, who scored four runs in the first and erupted for nine runs in the fourth. Baker had two hits, while Marcus Brown and Walker Williams also had two hits each.
PREP SOFTBALL
Gravette 10, Prairie Grove 1
Lexi Gerner and Bailey Elmore each drove in two runs as Gravette defeated Prairie Grove in a 4A-1 Conference game.
Cally Kildow had three hits and scored three times for the Lady Lions, who led 4-1 after one inning and pulled away with a four-run fifth.
Kildow picked up the win as she allowed just one hit over five innings, while Elmore allowed one hit over two innings. The two pitchers combined for 11 strikeouts.
GENTRY 7, FAYETTEVILLE 5
Gentry scored three runs in the sixth inning Monday to rally past Fayetteville in a non-conference game.
Mazzi Jones had four hits and two RBI for Gentry, which outhit Fayetteville 10-6. Shalin Charles had two hits and four RBIs for Fayetteville, which committed three of the game's four errors.
Harrison 5, Huntsville 2
Kaylee Wolfe scored three runs as Harrison defeated Huntsville in a 4A-1 Conference game.
Wolfe was hit by a pitch and scored in the first inning, then singled and scored in the fifth. She then scored after reaching on an error in the seventh.
Shayne Gilliam broke a 2-2 tie and put Harrison ahead to stay when she reached on an error and scored in the sixth.
