The Arkansas Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting May 2 in the Pike County town of Glenwood to discuss plans to replace bridges in Sevier, Howard and Pike counties.
The bridges targeted for replacement are the U.S. 70 bridge over the Saline River in Sevier County, the U.S. 278 bridge over the same river in Howard County and the U.S. 70 bridge over the Caddo River in Pike County.
The meeting will be from 4 to 7 p.m. in the family life center of First Baptist Church, 904 U.S. 70 East in Glenwood.
The public is invited to visit during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments, the department said.
