Bluegrass Monday

Bluegrass band David Davis and the Warrior River Boys performs at 7 p.m. Monday at the Collins Theatre, 120 W. Emerson St., Paragould, part of Jonesboro public radio station KASU-FM, 91.9's Bluegrass Monday series. Architecture lecture

Victoria Herrmann, president and managing director of the Arctic Institute, will give a lecture titled "Weathering It Together: Designing for the Anthropocene," focusing on design challenges presented by climate change, 6 p.m. Tuesday in the lower-level Lecture Hall, Arkansas Arts Center, 501 E. Ninth St., Little Rock. It's part of the Architecture and Design Network's 2018-19 June Freeman Lecture Series, in partnership with the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design at the University of Arkansas. Rogers auditions

Arkansas Public Theatre will hold auditions for A Doll's House, Part 2 by Luca Hnath, 7 p.m. May 6 at the Victory Theater, 116 S. Second St., Rogers. Auditions will be based upon readings from the script; an audition packet, including times, scenes, character descriptions and rehearsal schedule, is available online at arkansaspublictheatre.org. The Lupus Foundation of Arkansas' 24th annual Norma Lampert Memorial Lupus Springers 5K Race and Walk to End Lupus will take place at 8 a.m. May 18 at at Mid-America Park, Mid-America Boulevard, Hot Springs. Entry fee is $25 before May 16, $30 thereafter. Springdale Chorale

Mass: A Celebration of Love and Joy by Andre J. Thomas will be the centerpiece of the Arts Center of the Ozarks Chorale's spring concert, "A Celebration of Love & Joy Through Song," 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the center, 214 S. Main St., Springdale. The program also includes songs by Nat "King" Cole and Neil Diamond and choral highlights from the soundtrack for the movie Mamma Mia!, which the center will produce in this summer. Arts business

Pamela Reed, a programs specialist at the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center, and artist Robert Bean, chairman of painting and drawing departments at the Arkansas Arts Center's Museum School, will present a workshop, titled "The ART of Writing a Business Plan," 9 a.m.-noon.
