Allman Betts Band, with famous sons, plays NLR

The Allman Betts Band — Devon Allman and Duane Betts, with bassist Berry Oakley Jr., slide guitarist Johnny Stachela and percussionists R. Scott Bryan and John Lum — performs at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Center for Humanities and Arts, University of Arkansas-Pulaski Technical College main campus, North Little Rock. JD Simo opens the show. Tickets are $35-$55, $20 for standing-room only, $10 for students.

The band, which made its official debut March 28 with a show at the Brooklyn Bowl, consists of the sons of Gregg Allman, Dickie Betts and Berry Oakley, all members of the Allman Brothers Band.
