Mercy opens new clinic site in Rogers

Mercy held a ribbon cutting for Hyperbaric and Wound Care's new location at Mercy Physicians Plaza, 2708 S. Rife Medical Lane, Suite T40 in Rogers. The location doubles the clinic's size and number of exam rooms from four to eight and increases the number of hyperbaric chambers from three to four.

Surgery firm named center of excellence

Roller Weight Loss & Advanced Surgery and Northwest Medical Center, Springdale became the fifth center in the country to be named a center of excellence for bariatric surgery by the Employers Centers of Excellence Network. The program is designed to grant employees of participating businesses access to care and health plan innovation.

Roller Weight Loss & Advanced Surgery provides bariatric and general surgical. Dr. Joshua Roller started his practice along with his wife, Dr. Kristin Roller, in 2007 as a team of five, and it is now a 53-employee, multilocation company serving the Fayetteville, Fort Smith and Tulsa areas.

Thaden Field named Airport of the Year

Louise M. Thaden Field in Bentonville received the award of Airport of the Year southwest region from the Federal Aviation Administration. The award follows a year's worth of accolades for Thaden Field, as airport officials worked toward safer runways, reducing back-taxiing and accommodating additional aircraft.
