Kathryn Ann Theriot - John Bernard Maus IV

Kathryn Ann Theriot and John Bernard Maus IV were united in marriage at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Pine Bluff, with Monsignor Jack Harris officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Sharon and Walter Theriot of White Hall and the granddaughter of Betty and the late Kenneth Melancon and Beryl and the late William Theriot, all of Houma, La., and Bonnie and Willis Bonvillain of Thibodaux, La.

Lynlee and John Bernard Maus III of Morrilton are the parents of the groom. He is the grandson of Martha and the late Jerry Virden and Mary Joyce and the late John Bernard Maus Jr., all also of Morrilton.

The altar held large arrangements of white hydrangeas, roses, snapdragons and white delphinium. Nuptial music was by organist Faron Wilson, violinist Keenan Peet, trumpeter Dr. Richard Bailey and vocalist Matt Soto. Helen Page of Fayetteville and Mindy Ware of Little Rock served as program attendants. The Scriptures were read by Anna Musgraves and Nancy Purnell.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a long-sleeve gown of white satin embellished with lace and crystal beading. A ballgown skirt extended from a Basque waistline to a cathedral-length train. She carried a bouquet of red roses and Leyland cypress. Tucked into her bouquet was her paternal grandmother's rosary.

Sarah Elizabeth Theriot Mehl of Houston, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Bridgforth Hartz of Stuttgart; Andrea Jean Kathol of Houston; Mary Anna Lee Maus of Morrilton, sister of the groom; Marleigh Jane Pearce of Searcy; and Allison Ann Sites of Little Rock. They wore latte-colored satin gowns and carried bouquets of white hydrangeas, roses, stock, ranunculus and lisianthus.

Flower girl was Anna Faye Mallett of Little Rock, cousin of the groom.

The groom's honor attendants were his brothers, Jerry Hamilton Maus of Morrilton and Stephen Virden Maus of Fayetteville. Groomsmen were Philip Aloys Hoelzeman of Fort Smith; Daniel Taliaferro McFarland of Baltimore; Zachary Adam Musgraves of Fayetteville; and Ryan Wesley Taylor of Springdale.

Guests were seated by Taylor Garrett of Plumerville; Bradley Gore of Little Rock; Dylan Kordsmeier of Hattieville; William Simpson, Nathan Watson and Quinn Gasaway, all of Washington.

After the ceremony, a reception was held at Pine Bluff Country Club. Tables held arrangements of hydrangeas, roses, stock and delphinium surrounded by candles. Music was by Memphis Soul Revue.

The bride graduated from the University of Arkansas Walton College of Business with a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance. She is a certified public accountant and is employed by BKD LLP as a senior audit associate in the Arkansas Financial Services group.

The bridegroom has a master's degree in business administration from UA Walton College of Business and is a bank examiner with the Arkansas State Bank Department.

The couple will make their home in Little Rock after a honeymoon in Antigua.
