TEC opens Fayetteville office

Traffic Engineering Consultants Inc. recently opened a branch office in Fayetteville.

Nathan Becknell will run the new office. He worked for the city of Rogers as a city engineer for two years and civil engineer for three years.

TEC is a multifaceted traffic and transportation engineering firm, which offers services to public and private clients. The company was founded in Oklahoma City in 1984 and also has branch office in Tulsa.

Chambers Bank to break ground

Chambers Bank will break ground on a full-service branch in Van Buren at 2 p.m. Tuesday .

The bank branch will be at the corner of Arkansas 59 North and Northridge Drive and will feature updated technology and provide a concierge banking experience.

The 4,500 square-foot facility was designed by DBSI of Chandler, Ariz. Salter Construction Inc. of Conway will be the general contractor.

This will be Chambers Bank's 19th branch and the first full-service facility in Crawford County. Chambers Bank opened a loan processing office in Van Buren in 2017.

Farm Studios opens in Hiwasse

A trio of investors -- Jason Netter of Kickstart Entertainment, and Zak and Tom Heald of Intercut Productions -- joined forces to create Farm Studios, a new film and media production studio in Hiwasse.

Farm Studios sits on 4.5 acres of farmland off Dickson Road, near Arkansas 279, which has been transformed into a private Hollywood-style back lot designed to serve a wide variety of film, television and media production needs.

The facility includes a 9,500-square-foot soundstage, the largest within a 500-mile radius of nearby Bentonville. The stage is equipped with a 50-by-90-foot cyclorama wall and a 30-by-50-foot light grid. Additionally, the facility hosts a 3,000-square-foot set construction workshop.

Farm Studios will provide rental production space for film, television series, commercial and multimedia content. It will also offer production offices, a hair and makeup room, VIP lounges, conference room and a full kitchen.

Law firm opening third office

Northwest Arkansas law firm Keith, Miller, Butler, Schneider & Pawlik, with locations in Rogers and Fayetteville, is opening a Siloam Springs office at 116 Broadway St. on Monday.

Lawyers at the Siloam Springs office will handle a variety of cases including car collisions, tax law, banking and business law. The office will also have lawyers working criminal defense and divorce cases.
